The Carbonic Rim made waves when we first debuted it as the first-ever Freestyle BMX specific Carbon Fibre Rim 3 years ago. Utilizing the huge strength and stiffness properties of Carbon Fibre, with a much wider/taller shape and a thicker layer of material around the critical areas, the Carbonic was a totally new kind of product to BMX and a game changer to say the least. No open models or generic rims with fancy stickers, the Carbonic Rim is the end result of over 6 years of extensive R&D and real world rider testing.

We’re delighted to introduce the next evolution of the Carbonic rim with the V2. Working closely with one of the top Carbon Fibre manufacturers in the world, we were able to modify the rim shape around the spoke holes to both increase the overall stiffness around the spoke hole and the total strength and lateral impact resistance. In a nutshell, the rim is stiffer, stronger and even more street ready. Tested extensively in the laboratory and together with the éclat team on the streets and on transitions, the Carbonic V2 rim is for riders looking for an extremely stiff and lightweight setup made by BMX riders for BMX riders. 

Available in a brakeless and brake specific option with a brake pad ready sidewall layer.
